Mahindra as always brings in the surprised effect with a car of their own type has brought the all new India’s first most viable electric car Mahindra Reva E20 which has now been launched. It is said that the vehicle will be launched sometime in November near to Diwali, the festival of lights. When unveiled at the Auto Expo held in January, it has kept paparazzi on toes since then everyone has been waiting eagerly to get some information and developments towards this car. It is still to be priced at Rs. 6 lakh (ex showroom New Delhi).

Earlier the company had decided to launch the car with lead-acid batteries but has now changed the plan in the favor of leasing the batteries to the buyers in particular making it a part of the running cost of the car. The E20 will have a range of about 160km and a top speed of 105kmpl.
The car has already gained popularity even before it is launched and being a four seater vehicle with a two door facilities and Mahindra Reva E20 pictures show that the exteriors are stunning and attractive. The car size is small and compact which is a heads off cleared problem of parking space in the jam packed city traffic. The size is reduced in Mahindra Reva E20 but still it assures headroom and legroom for the passenger. The two seater car has been given enough space for two adults, smart interiors and the boot space is enough for decent amount of luggage. The battery takes up about eight hours to charge fully and it consumes 2.5 hours for 80% charge.
